If you book one of our birthday parties you will receive: - a party host for the duration of your 2 hour long event - a greeting with our mascot Eric the Owl - a birthday present for the birthday child - over an hour exploring in the exhibition - an option of science demo or stick insect handling session - time in the party room for your food and birthday cake (if you do not select our optional catering add on, please bring your own food and cake) -PDF invitations emailed to you to distribute to your guests There is a minimum capacity of 10 children and a maximum capacity of 20 children. This includes the birthday child and siblings of the birthday child. You will be required to bring the following ratios of supervising adults (these will be free of charge): -10 children, minimum 2 adults -11-15 children, minimum 3 adults -16-20 children, minimum 4 adults The party host is not responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the party children as this responsibility lies with the supervising adults. Additional adults are permitted to stay with the party, up to a maximum total of 10 adults. Additional adults above these 10 are required to purchase tickets from reception, discounted to half price. Our birthday parties are suitable for 5-12 year olds. The party room is decorated with banners, balloons and table cloths. Customers are welcome to bring additional decorations.
